The Discussion Papers series of the Institute for Regional Studies, Centre for Economic and Regional Studies was launched in 1986 to publish summaries of research findings on regional and urban development by Institute staff. The series has 5 or 6 regular issues a year, as well as Special issues. It will be of interest to geographers, economists, sociologists, experts of law and political sciences, historians and everybody else who is, in one way or another, engaged in the research of spatial aspects of socio-economic development and planning. The series is published by the Institute for Regional Studies. Individual copies are available on request at the Institute.
