Abstract

In the year of 2004 a research was initiated at the Institute of Adok Education and Human Resources Development to analyze the preferences of the Hungarian population when choosing a place to live – which towns and settlements do people find most competitive, which central settlements are cosidered to be most attractive. I would like to express my thanks to all full-time and correspondence students who took active part in our project and contributed to its successful completion.
