Abstract

Nowadays industrial parks have become the distinguished actors of the Hungarian economy. Keeping the development of the industrial park's network in view the actual conditions and potential development aims of the local economic milieu and the institutional network structure – the enterprises in parks embedded into – have to take into account. Based on the results of the social network researches it is assumable that the extent and the composition of the parks' connections and structural importance of the network nodes mean such reachable and in certain cases mobilisable resources, which enlarge the economic competitiveness and efficiency of the enterprises in industrial parks. The aim of this study is to explore the institutional relations of industrial parks with special regard to its heterogeneity, extensity and composition.
